Anticipating her action, Samus moved the blade away. However, it was not because she did not want the girl to see or use it. She shook her head once as if to say 'You don't want to do that' before barely touching the laser blade to the bottom of a nearby metal rack, slicing it and sending whatever weapons were resting on it tumbling down.
