timebent to before shoreleave: An exchange in the Sensorium [Closed]
Nanashi had gotten used to the sensorium pretty quickly. With a thought she summoned her castle's sitting room. The chairs were all oversized and velvet, filled with wool. A steel wine cooler sat on the table between the chairs, waiting for wine to be summoned into it. Two glasses stood in front of it. Nanashi had never tasted wine, but her glass was already full of blood. The chairs faced a fireplace with a crackling blue flame, over which a painting of Nanashi sitting on her throne with many children of many different ages, some of them appeared to be human while others vampires.
Behind the chairs the wall was covered with a bookshelf filled with books, all books about war strategy and weaponry, though it would be hard for any human to read in the room since the firelight was the only light in the room. The two other walls were decorated with tapestries and paintings of nearby landscapes.
Nanashi sunk down into one of the chairs, dressed in her usual- a black dress slit up to the waist with a low cut front and a pair of black pants beneath it. On her feet were a pair of black leather ankle boots, though they had no soles like a modern boot. Instead there were just extra layers of leather on the bottom. As she waited for Mei-Xing to arrive, she sipped at the blood in her cup.
