Seriously, why did this thing come pre-equipped with sedatives? At least, ones in needle format. His eyes had widened briefly with alarm, but at least nobody had been stung.

"Who would plan ahead for that?" A mutter, almost under his breath. Yes, be prepared, expect the unexpected, but if this ship had been built, designed, then someone had stepped back and thought that such a device was necessary.

His sleep would certainly be uneasier for that thought alone.

"Yeah, you know, for camping trips." A clearing of his throat. A bedroll, even if it were made of.. living material, would be better. Or, hell, to just nod off someplace else. "I'm not claustrophobic or anything, but I might start."
