Free but at what cost? (Some language warning)

(After this)

Dean had got some sleep, and now he was lying out in the Impala after having some beer from the Drunken Dragon tavern. It helped a little.

Not really.

He sent a comm to Sam earlier when he was more awake saying where he was, and that it was true.

Apocalypse canceled. No more angel condoms, no more Michael, no more Lucifer. The Winchesters were free from destiny's hold.

...No more Earth.

They failed. He failed.

Jubilee nodded. "Just was thinking. Everyone has their own point of view." She looked up at Dean. "You said you took down demons. The one demon I met, well, he's supposedly the father of one my best friends and was a total loser." She shrugged. "And you're a Jedi." She motioned at Ben.

"If we can get peeps with the memories to offer up what they saw, maybe there's something there." She shrugged. "Like I said, Scott and Kitty are so much better at this than me."

"Not everyone's meant for intelligence work," he shrugged. "Collecting memories is definitely the right idea, though." He tugged his omnicomm unit out of the utility belt he'd looped over his plantsuit and tapped the device on. "Anything else you're interested in finding out about our crew?"

"Huh." Jubilee said, thinking. "The worst I had to take on was Dracula." A pause. "Well, and I was there when Azazel pulled his crap." A shrug.

She looked up at Ben. "And I'd say he's right. We don't need to know anything else. We need intel on the Ohm. Start there, and if we need clarification, or whatever, we can go back and ask for it." She rolled her bottle between her hands.

"Though," she thought for a moment. "Technology level of the world might help too." She nodded to Dean. "I'm guessing that his was about the level of mine, but yours," a nod to Ben, "was more advanced. And we're going to have everything in between."

He nodded. "No interdimensional travel -- except one person-eating blob before I was born -- but we've used faster-than-light travel for thousands of years."

Ben typed in a short entry to his omnicomm, then sent it (http://community.livejournal.com/trans_channel/160281.html) out to the ship. "And done"

"Pretty much. It was '07 when I was yanked." She needed to talk to Stacy about getting her memories back. The last thing she remembered was helping that kid in the alley. None of it made any sense. She stared at her bottle, rolling the brown glass between her hands.

Of course, she could do without some of the memories before that. But it didn't work like that. She knew that.

She gave a glance at her own and snorted, a small smile twitching her lips. "Cute." Jubilee said, shaking her head.

"Lots of people from Earth," he noted, typing responses as the other two spoke. "Lots from more or less your time, too." He glanced up. "Do you know anyone here from home?"

"Just Jono and Bobby." Jubilee said, absently. Then she looked up. "Like I said, apparently, there's a couple of the kids here, but I didn't know them too well. I wasn't around the mansion long after we went to Hell."

She frowned for a moment. Then she looked up at Dean. "How'd you know about Wolvie?" Jubilee asked.
