jed-eye swing
Arha had meditated long enough and the blank white of the Sensorium lifted, the white dissolving to a dark cave with craggy rocks and strange formations. Luminescent lichen cast diffused light that made the water-heavy air almost glow. She had put herself out of her element deliberately and forced herself to adapt to it. So much moisture.
It mattered not what she faced in the dim setting she had chosen.
She flicked her milky-white lightsaber into her hand, using the Force to unhook it from her belt. There was a disturbance, a scratch of boot against rock, and then the hum of not one but two lightsaber blades. Her own snap-hissed on and she propelled herself off a rock, her feet light as she used her natural agility to flip, avoiding the incoming blow even as her blade made contact with the other. She rolled as the figure advanced and popped up onto her feet in time to parry another strike. The Force flared in her as she shoved her simulated opponent back with a push--she was finally getting better at them. It was not a strong push, but it was enough to deflect a blow meant for her midsection. Arha bent backwards as the other lightsaber swept to slice at her throat. It was an unnatural angle that she used to her advantage by flipping and using a hard strike to snap the lightsaber up into the air and into her free hand.
Once upright, Arha moved, her form blurring as she accelerated, using The Weirding Way to move impossibly fast, scoring her opponent on his right leg before delivering a nerve strike to his left arm. Move, move, move. She ducked out of the way as a fist came flying, felt the incoming blow she knew she wouldn't avoid and let herself go with the bright burst of pain against her hip. She drew on the Force to keep her moving and felt the numbing impact of a lightsaber hilt against her arm. The purloined lightsaber went flying and deactivated as her other came up to protect her face. The crackle-hiss of lightsaber against lightsaber raised the hairs on her body as her opponent pinned her down.
Arha's teeth grit and she pulled at the other lightsaber. This was not her forte. But she would master it. She concentrated hard and felt as much heard the weapon skitter across the rough terrain. It was then that she noticed where she was, bent over the rocky lip of a pool. He bent her further back and she could feel the water soaking her hair. She let herself bend and kept a tenuous hold on the lightsaber as she took a deep breath.
Her head went under the water and her lightsaber hissed as it came into contact with the surface. She shoved back, but the angle was insufficient. Calm. She was almost there. Almost. Find the switch.
The lightsaber ignited.
