Jamie does like to complain about life on the TARDIS, true, but that doesn't mean he didn't enjoy the time there. It's just...Jamie being Jamie. And Jamie's a bit puzzled by Billy's reaction, until he realizes that that's probably why his friend would think he was annoyed.
