'Meat' 'n Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"... not the kind of question I was expecting, but all right. I don't know of any onboard right now, but you could always search through Weapons and Possessions. Or just ask one of the scientists, if you find one that isn't busy and isn't totally misanthropic, anyway." Wyn says, biting her lip. "Or one of the chemistry teachers! That'd actually make a decent class project."

Spike nodded. "Guess I could look into it. Or maybe we'll have this whole business wrapped up before I need it." He didn't really believe that, but it was worth saying. "I don't really want my head to be a class project, though."

"It'd be a very safe class project?" Wyn offers. "Or you could just use the Sensoriums, but that's the boring way."

Spike shook his head. "Dunking my head in a bucket of chemicals some students think counts as bleach? No bloody thanks." Sure, unless they mixed holy water in the chemicals, it wouldn't kill him. But it could make his hair fall out or something. Not worth the risk. "I'll go with the boring way."

"I've been having them use hydrochloric acid in a couple of experiments, so technically that would be safe. ... safer." Wyn says with a shrug, sticking her hands into the pockets of her shirt. Yes, that does mean she's the chemistry teacher. (Yes, even though she barely looks twenty. They were a bit desperate.) "But yeah, you could just go to the Sensoriums, ask for a bottle of peroxide, and then bleach it how you normally do. Like I said, though. Boring."
