Two hundred people...that was doable. He can find Kaylee among two hundred, especially if something like this has happened before, which obviously it has, otherwise there wouldn't be two hundred people on the ship. If they're all looking for their friends and loved ones--and Simon can only assume they are--Kaylee would be looking for him, too. At least, he hopes she is.
