Reyna stopped dead in her tracks, her grip on Kyle's arm tightening almost painfully. She felt a cold trickle of fear slid down her back as Kyle's words settled in her brain. She couldn't believe it, didn't want to believe it, but she could see no reason for Kyle to play such a cruel joke on her.
Still, she had to be sure. She turned to face him, all thoughts of nakedness and embarrassment superseded by a desperate need to know. Her gray eyes were as hard as stone, and they seemed to stare into the very depths of Kyle's soul.
"You're saying that at some point in the future some madman destroys my homeworld simply to make a point? How is that even possible??" Every sense she had was focused on Kyle, hoping to detect even the slightest hint of prevarication in his response.
[ooc: And poor Kyle Katarn draws the short straw and has to be the one to break the news to Reyna about Alderaan's destruction! XD Poor Kyle. He's about to have one very distraught young woman on his hands!]
