Billy may be a little bit wrong on that front, as a tankard of ale is plunked down in front of Billy. Jamie's the one who's deposited it there, and he says dryly, "Ye know, if ye don't at least look like you're drinking, someone's going to wind up trying to get ye drunk for real."

He hasn't actually sat down yet, so it's easy to see he's quite firmly standing on both feet. He's still got some scratches, and the cut on his cheek, but is definitely not favoring one leg - and he doesn't look to be in any pain. In fact, he's smiling, quite broadly.
