It's times like this Kaylee really wishes she was a doctor, and not just a mechanic. Some of the things she'd seen Simon do for people were amazing, and if she had that knowledge she could have at least helped make Jamie's leg feel better.

Her train of thought is interrupted by the Billy comment. Kaylee blinks, and looks back at Jamie, brow furrowed. "If Billy hadn't..." She won't push him to finish it, but she's curious. One of the Nightmare King's tricks, she hopes, and nothing more than that.

"Ah, sorry 'bout that," comes out as a half-laugh, and she sits back down, though her eyes are still pretty well focused on his leg.

Kaylee was liking this Nightmare King less and less...
