The thought's a fleeting one, though, as he's busy slicing the cloth into strips he can knot together into a longer bandage. He glances up as Kaylee half-stands, wondering if he should point out that if she's going to insist on standing he's going to have to get up as well. And judging by the way she's reacting to his leg, he'd never hear the end of it.
"Well," he admits finally, "I may not be dancing for a wee bit after this. If Billy hadna..." He realizes about halfway through that sentence what he had started to say, and changes tack rather abruptly. "Would ye mind sitting back down? I'd rather not stand up if I didna have to, aye?"
