Victor knelt down next to Sierra, his arm around her shoulders. "We can find new paints," he told her gently, looking up at Topher. "We can find new paints, right? Sierra likes to paint."

Topher has a point though. Victor does have a serial killer inside of his head. Stressing him out probably isn't a good idea but if Sierra is upset, Victor gets upset so he thinks maybe they should address this first.
