"I know this place," Kala said softly. "It wasn't this dark the last time and it was much greener, but..." She closed her eyes, then opened them after a moment. "This is like my home." Another spider dropped without warning, falling on her shoulder, followed by three more, one of which tangled in her long hair and savagely bit her on the arm. Kala cried out, slapping them away even as she threw up a protective barrier, still twitching as fist sized spiders bounced off it like hailstones.
"...I'm going to agree. I don't want to stay here. This isn't home at all."
