Something's not right here [ closed ]
Diana hadn't really seen much of Cassie since she'd gotten here and that had to be corrected. Diana had heard of the Sensorums being able to create any place, including a training grounds, which was pretty much her intent. Getting rusty was a bad thing.
From Stacy, Diana learned of where Cassie was staying and she headed towards her room, knocking on the hard door. "Cassie? Are you home?"

Oh crap.
Why did this always happen?
She gave Kon a look that was part surprise, part fear, and part get-up-get-dressed-get-gone. After all, last time Diana had caught them together, Kon had gotten the heck out of there before Diana even got close, and for good reason: the first time, when they were just kissing, she had pitched Kon off the roof of the Titans Tower and into the bay.
She didn't want to imagine what would happened if Diana opened the door to find her protégé getting all –– ahem.
"Be quiet, just pretend we're not here," she hissed at Kon.

Then...you know, cuddling.
But the only cuddling he was about to get would be maybe be with Death. (And he had a feeling he'd have to be the little spoon).
A pause.
Seriously, she'd tossed him off a building. For just kissing Cassie. As in several miles off a building, and he'd landed in the Bay. He can't even imagine how Diana will react when she finds out he's completely stolen Cassie from the
sapphic embrace of Themiscyrauh, the... highly independent, feminist cultural lifestyle she keeps hoping Cassie will participate more in. That had been something of a sticking point before, he remembered, with Wonder Woman wanting Cassie to train on Themiscyra and get schooled in Amazon ideals and blah blah blah, rather than training with the Titans. But while he certainly understands why his girlfriend finds it important (and being able to imagine her wrestling around half-clothed with the All-Girls Themiscyran Seminude Volleyball Team in a Magical Girly Wonderland is not without its merits) he's kinda not keen on some of the more popular beliefs that are part of the Amazon philosophy. ("MEN IS EVIL, RAAARGH.")Kon moves to sit up, and to his resounding horror, accidentally knocks his hand into the beside table and knocks Cassie's bracers off of it, sending them clattering to the floor.
The curse is quiet, but it's not so quiet that it magically retroactively makes the clattering quiet, too. There's no way that couldn't be heard through the door.
He dives for his pants.
Oh, he is so dead. So very, very dead. Forget the Crisis, forget Superboy-Prime, forget saving the world--today is the day he dies. Goddammit, Kon thought, for a woman so hot, why'd she have to be so terrifying?
Kon hisses in a panicked voice as he hops into his pants.

She heard the clatter through the door quite distinctly. Knocking again, she spoke clearly through the door. "Cassie. Are you alright in there?"
no subject
She faced the door, and in her most innocent, perkiest voice, called: "J-just a minute! I just got out of the shower!"
Worst lie ever, but hopefully one that would not inspire Diana to just walk in.
Cassie scrambled to find her clothes, kicking one of Kon's shoes under the bed in the process.
It is one thing to think fast and rationally when a five hundred pound griffin is grappling with you to the death and you can't get a good hand on your lasso, and your spear is stuck in the mud four metres to your left.
It is another when you're standing there buck naked, knowing that on the other side of a very thin door is Wonder Woman, and she knows you're there, in your very obviously co-ed room.
Both are deadly situations, both suck to be in, and both spell trouble for the future, but believe it or not, at that very moment, Cassie only WISHED she was wrestling with a griffin.
But it was cool, right? She still had time.
Well... some time.

He pouts.
Ah frack, the closest isn't big enough. It has some kinda thingy for compressing and folding the clothes and he can't move it out of the way like he thought he could.
This is why Kon ducks into the sonic shower stall instead, and tries to be as quiet as possible.

There was a lot of clatter, and coming out of the shower didn't really make sense for all the noise. Amazons should have more grace. Perhaps being here had worn on her, causing her skills to atrophy a bit. Now there was a reason to train. Amazons should always be on their toes, able to move anywhere, use their environments to their advantage when a situation escalated to a battle.
Diana folded her arms and waited patiently. For now

"Diana!" she said, cheerfully, stopping the door with her foot so it didn't open too far. You could only clean so much in so little time. "Sorry that took so long."
She leaned against the door frame, casually blocking the room with her body.
"What's up?"
no subject
"We should train today," Diana replied simply.
no subject
"Sure. Sounds good! Uh, I'll put on something better for training and meet you?"
no subject
"Are those Conner's things?" Surely she wouldn't let him use her room for a storage unit.
no subject
She stepped back just a touch, looking over her shoulder at the room. Oops.
"Yeah... we hang out a lot and he leaves his stuff laying around my room all the time. Guys do that. I'll tell him to pick up his stuff next time I see him."

Might as well soften her up to Kon now.
"He's really sweet, Diana."
no subject
no subject
Oh no.
She thought fast and put that big smile back on.
"On second thought, I don't mind training in these, let's just go. Where are we going? The Sensoriums?"
no subject
Because the owner of those feet can be a bit slow sometimes. (He hadn't thought to float, but then he doesn't realize there's a gap where his feet can be seen).

Seriously, he is so dead. It's not gonna help that he's barefoot and not wearing a shirt and looks all the world like he just tossed some pants on and hid. (Which is what he did).
"I wasn't peeping! You can't peep on someone if you live there t--uuh I mean, um, yeah, totally peeping. My room is across the hall. As in...not here."
--Oh god. Oh God, she's not stupid. He's dead. He's so dead. She is not gonna buy that. Why does he have to blurt when nervous? Curse his blurting nature!
He just covers his face with his hand.
"Would it be easier if I just...go find a building and toss myself off it this time? Save you the effort?"
no subject
She peered down at him, quite angry. With a firm hand, she pushed him quite strongly against the wall, easily lifting his feet off the ground. "How long has this been going on? Don't lie, or I'll simply have to tie you up to get my answers."
no subject
And yet, even amidst the fear of horrible death, the only thing that Kon can think right now, at 'I'll simply have to tie you up to get my answers,' is:
Don't say "Kinky." Don't say "Kinky." Doooon't say "Kinky"...
Wordlessly, he looks to Cassie with an expression that says HALP, rather clearly. If he says the wrong thing, he dies, so he'd prefer to leave most of the talking to her.
no subject
"Diana, stop! We've only lived together since we got rooms, and I was going to talk to you about it."

"I just want you to be happy." She patted Connor on the head then added to him, "If you ever mistreat her, you can be sure I will throw you off a building."
no subject
He rubs the back of his neck nervously.
"I love her. And--and with the Crisis, she saw me die. I didn't hit that point yet in my time, but I was right there, about to fight Prime, and I found out from Static that further in the future I come back, but--"
He swallows thickly.
"But having to think about stuff like that kinda makes you realize what's important." Chewing on his lip, he goes on, "I know you worry about her and Donna and are really protective and all, but I love her. I have for like half my whole life. I'd never hurt her."
A wince. "Mind control situations aside, I'd never hurt her. But if that turns out to be a thing, I'm getting myself locked up for good."

Cassie stepped around Diana to grab Kon's hand and stand by him. She gave Diana a smile, even though she felt a touch nervous, still.
"See? So it's all good, right?"
no subject

"Never been happier," she confirmed.
But maybe keeping the room tidier was a good thing to do, regardless of whether Diana was okay with this or not.
