"Acknowledging and countering them might help. A fear-magnifying spell was cast on me before, and if I allowed the fear to completely overwhelm me I would have been erased from existence. I was nearly a goner when my friends' voices broke through. With their encouragement, I remembered that protecting everyone was more important to me than avoiding my fear. In other cases, it helped to prove that the fear was illogical." Billy bows his head in thought.
