Katara looked a little surprised. "They don't let you fight? But why would they feel that way? Wouldn't it be better if you could, in case someone tries to hurt you? Why would they tell you not to fight?"

Katara understood a little now. In a way, it made her pleased that Tess was doing something outside of what was expected. Not everyone was able to really do that, even with their worlds gone.
