Katara was really starting to get concerned. This was definitely not the time for the team to have such stark contrasts to each other: this could kill them, if they went into something without all of their advantages at hand. She hadn't liked the way things were going doen right now either, and she had every intention of letting people know later. As things stood right now, having a division of interests would no only put them all in danger, it was also time spent here and less helping those who might need them back at the Vatican.
Katara put a hand to Slobo's back. "I know you don't approve of how they did this," she said to him softly. "I don't either: I don't know enough about him. But right now there's still a lot we have to do and not a lot of time to do it. There are still people that need help, and though you're mad at them, the team needs you. If you help them...I'll stay here with Lex. I can take him back if need be, and I can heal him when he wakes up. You can't heal him, but what you can do will help us and everyone on this ship. They're counting on you too. I mean, you ARE stronger than I am."
She knew that she would be an asset the team might miss, but Slobo's absence would be worse. Now was not the time to argue and quibble about right and wring: but she could at least do something that both helped the team and eased the guilt of allowing someone she hardly knew to be struck unconscious.
