Katara had to admit that Roxie's instruction filled her with a quiet apprehension she'd never felt before. It had never been a precaution she needed to take with any temple she visited. She took Roxie's hand, and her heart beat fast. It was dawning on her now why Roxie seemed so intent on showing Damion out to be some sort of fraud: he spoke very aggressively of God, the spiritual being of his world, but could hardly defend him with the same gusto.
